There is a clear and remarkable message in the first passover for the last day church. Pharoah is a prophetic type of Satan, the ruler of this present evil age. In his strategy to keep Israel under bondage there is a parallel to the same tactics he used from the beginning, and is using against the last day church, to keep her in bondage to the ways of the world. We can see in the first passover a remarkable prophetic outline of how the people of God are to be delivered from the dominion of Satan through the power of the cross, not just in theory, but in reality.
