Some people in the Church have focused on evangelism. Others have majored on social concern. Still others have stressed the gifts of the Holy spirit. Increasingly, theologians and biblical scholars have been urging us to recover the central biblical theme of the Kingdom of God. This book has a balanced, biblical approach that bridges the tragic division in the Church today. It is both evangelical and charismatic, both evangelistic and social concerned. All of this is grounded in an over-arching Kingdom theology.
